Guidelines

  • · Whole-food first — supplements fill gaps, never replace meals.
  • · Keep caffeine before 14:00 to protect deep sleep quality.
  • · Add 3–5 g creatine to the post-session shake for ATP recovery.
  • · Two fists of colourful vegetables at every solid meal.
Account guide

Your profile and sync

Your account keeps training data consistent everywhere you use GeniusGym: phone during the session, tablet in the kitchen, desktop when planning the week.

What is stored

Display name, avatar, height and weight, your calibration answers, completed sessions with volume and completion percentage, your active programme and start date, nutrition selections, hydration logs and journal entries.

Sync and offline use

Changes save as you make them and reconcile on the next device you open. Installed as a progressive web app, GeniusGym keeps timers, videos already viewed and the Expert Tips library available offline, then uploads your logs when you reconnect.

Themes and reminders

Pick from five interface themes — Cyber-Green, Quartz and Champagne, Midnight Slate, Terracotta and Sunset, and Mineral and Iron — and choose whether session reminders arrive in-app, by browser notification or by email.

What syncing actually stores

Your account holds a small profile record — display name, avatar link, height and weight — plus your logged sessions, completion percentages, journal entries and the preferences that drive your prescribed programme. That is enough to rebuild your entire training state on a new device the moment you sign in.

Height and weight are optional, but supplying them improves load suggestions and the macro targets shown in the Fuel section, because both scale with bodyweight rather than using a single generic default.

Working offline and re-syncing

Sessions run fine without a connection: timers, videos already cached and set logging all work locally. When the device comes back online, the pending sessions upload and your streak, tonnage and completion meters update automatically. You do not need to re-enter anything.

If you train on two devices in the same day, the most recently completed session wins for the resume point, while all logged sets from both devices are kept in your history.

Privacy and control

Journal entries are private by default; a public share link is only created when you explicitly export or publish one. You can clear your display name and avatar at any time and continue training with an anonymous profile, and signing out removes the cached session from the device.

Frequently asked

How do I change my email or password?
Update them from this page; a confirmation email is sent before any change to your sign-in address takes effect.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Request deletion from the account panel and your profile, sessions and journal entries are removed.
Can I change the email on my account?
Yes — request an email change from your account and confirm it from the new inbox; your history and streak move with the account.
What happens to my data if I stop training for months?
Nothing is deleted. Your history, journal and prescribed programme are waiting when you return, though your streak resets to zero on the first new session.
